The long established IATA forwarder, Quick Cargo Service, has used the Coronavirus period to reposition itself strategically and establish a board of directors.
The management team of Quick Cargo Service now consists of eight members: Stephan Haltmayer as CEO, Dieter Haltmayer, as President, Dr. Jennifer Melnyk as Director of Finance, Nico Haltmayer as Director of Sales & Business Development, Heidi Haltmayer as Director of Administration & Marketing, Markus Klein as Director of I.T., Ingo Schmich as Director of Seafreight and Oliver Krautter as Director of Airfreight. This new system is intended to ensure that, in a federalistic structure for the current twelve branch offices across Germany, decisions can be quickly and uniformly made, and synergies used optimally in both of the company’s core areas of business: sea-freight and airfreight.
“In times of continually accelerating processes and radical changes, I am convinced that we can achieve more together with our team of directors. Both Ingo Schmich and Oliver Krautter have many years of experience in their respective areas of sea-freight and airfreight. Through their long tenure of leading positions in our company, they have entrepreneurial foresight and the unreserved support of all our branch offices. In this way we will be present in the market with greater agility, consistency and synergy”, summarises CEO Stephan Haltmayer. Furthermore the new position of Director of Sales & Business Development has been created, “This area has been newly developed with great success by Nico Haltmayer over the last five years, and has been consequently defined as a position now, because of its importance to the company. The other positions simply reflect the fixed definition now of what were already pillars of the company”, explains Stephan Haltmayer.
