Experienced logistics expert Robert Weckwerth, who is currently responsible for both of the QCS Berlin offices, is heading up Quick Cargo Service’s development of their own office at Leipzig airport from August 1st this year.
This continues the firm’s strategy of steadily building a closely knit network. QCS now has twelve offices across Germany (Frankfurt, Hamburg Sea-freight and a separate location for airfreight, Berlin, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Munich, Hanover, Cologne, Nuremberg, Gronau and Leipzig), and has further offices throughout Europe: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, London, Basel, Zürich, Copenhagen and Warsaw.
The new office in Leipzig will be an important hub for the forwarding company, above all in the areas of e-commerce logistics and aerospace logistics. “Around Leipzig we can already rely on a comprehensive customer base, customers who we can serve even better with our new local office. It is an area of significant economic interest for us”, says Robert Weckwerth in explanation of the company’s decision. “As a professional service provider, who always puts the customers’ interests in the foreground, it is essential for us to always be close to our customers and directly available and responsive to them”, sums up Haltmayer.
