The AEO certification allows Quick Cargo to accelerate import and export procedures and facilitate ‘Just-In-Time’ logistics solutions, should a ‘No Deal’ Brexit happen.
Since two years, Quick-Cargo Service has AEO certification (DE AEOF-123844) as an authorised economic operator. This entails certain priviliges, such as an accelerated approval procedure in the application for customs simplifications for AEO-C and AEO-F, as well as less frequent inspections of goods and documents because of a more favourable risk evaluation.
The recognition of AEO certification is bound up with far-reaching requirements, which require, amongst other things, reliability, solvency and the fulfillment of the relevant legal and safety regulations. “We have always worked in accordance with these conditions but now we have the official seal of approval for these standards. Quality has always been an established company value, because it is only through such high quality standards that we can ensure the appropriate credibility with our customers”, explains Stephan Haltmayer Quick-Cargo-Service CEO.
The AEO guarantee Quick-Cargo clients: fast-tracked Customs’ control; less need to provide as many mandatory declarations and prior notification of any inspections relating to safety, security and customs’ legislation.
