Quick Cargo Service promotes innovation in logistics and participates in the innovation hub HAUS61 www.haus61.com in Frankfurt, which acts as an accelerator for logistics start-ups.
Six to ten fledgling companies from the logistics industry will develop new solutions and concepts in logistics from April 2019 under one roof: HAUS61. The goal is to bring larger logistics companies and start-ups together in order to promote the development of new ideas. In addition to Quick Cargo Service, the project is also being supported by Fraport AG, Sovereign Speed, CargoSteps, Cargosoft, HOLM (House of Logistics and Mobility), The Rhein-Main University and the Frauenhofer Institute.
“For Quick Cargo this project is very important because it enables us to proactively encourage the digital revolution. We have a direct line to the most important sources of innovation in logistics today”, emphasises Nico Haltmayer, branch manager of Frankfurt QCS. Partners of HAUS61 can bring in their own ideas and implement them together with the start-ups. Quick Cargo also remains as a logistics mentor by the side of the start-ups, “a win-win situation”, concludes Nico Haltmayer. “For young entrepreneurs it is an attractive option to develop quickly and receive the financial support they need to grow. For established forwarders this is the possibility to bring new ideas and products to the market sooner”.
